"Never before in history has innovation offered promise of so much to so many in so short a time." – Bill Gates
I’ve been learning, reading and writing about mobile and tech for the past two and a half years and in that relatively short space of time, technology has progressed and evolved at an exponential rate. This is my final blog for B60, it’s been one hell of a ride.
The elegant beauty of technology
Working for one of the UK’s leading app development agencies has taught me so much about this ever-changing industry. As technology makes giant strides to improve our lives, we should be following its lead.
Don’t let technology intimidate you. Embrace its elegant beauty and stunning potential.
Yes, uncertainty and mistakes are part and parcel of using new technologies, but so is exhilaration and efficiency. Instead of running away from technology, try learning to use it. Experience the whole new world it makes available to you and you will soon wonder why on Earth you avoided it before.
An adventurous journey
It’s been an incredible and adventurous journey, having been given the opportunity to visit places I’d always dreamt of visiting. In 2015, I travelled across the pond to mix with some of the world’s brightest and most creative marketing minds at Hubspot’s annual Inbound conference.
An unexpected but scintillating stop off in the Big Apple awaited me upon my return from Massachusetts. Dublin, Edinburgh and London have also been graced with my presence; it’s been a hectically thrilling escapade.
From infant to adulthood
When I first walked through the doors over two years ago, the B60 Blog was still in its infancy. Fast-forward to today and I’m incredibly proud to be leaving it as a two-time finalist and highly commended tech blog at the UK Blog Awards.
As a team, we’ve produced some excellent and insightful pieces and our two books, ‘Go Mobile’ and ‘Mobilising the Enterprise’, fortify our stance as thought leaders in the mobile and tech arena. The content will continue to come thick and fast, I can assure you of that.
Thanks for reading
The B60 blog has amassed thousands upon thousands of views and subscribers during my two and a half years with the company, so I wanted to take this final opportunity to show my gratitude to you, the reader.
It’s been an absolute blast. So long, farewell and thanks for reading.
